The project contains a nave for 850 worshipers, a daily chapel and church offices. In an area of Spanish Style development, the church wished to recall some of the traditional imagery, cruciform layout and procession of churches past, yet have a structure and spiritual space where contemporary forms and atmosphere are present. With stained and textured concrete floors economically recalling stone flooring, an abundance of natural light, cherry wood and exposed stained structural glue-lam beams, the church has a richness that belies its economy.
