David Keitel

David was born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1989 and attended Arizona State University on a tuition scholarship and earned his Master of Architecture in 1991 while also teaching undergraduate courses as a teaching assistant. David moved to San Diego and joined the studio in 1993 and has been an Associate since 1999. He has extensive experience in liturgical architecture and is involved in all the interior/exterior material and finish selections of projects in the studio. He has designed several award-winning projects, including the San Diego Symphony Offices and First Lutheran Church, San Diego, which won the IFRAA Millennium Award and has been published in “Architecture for the Gods” Book II.
